Hi! My name is Melissa - my friends call me Mel. Not only am I a photographer but I am the wife of a wonderful man and the mother to 9 beautiful children. I am as passionate about my photography as I am about my family and I love having the opportunity to photograph and share beautiful moments with other families.
My goal is to capture those memories that are unique to you and your family and to do so in a fun and relaxed way. Instead of bringing you into a studio, your session will be held on location and will use the beauty of the naturally available light. Instead of forced poses I will photograph you as you interact, talk, play and love.

Remember this little sweetheart? 3 months ago I met little Jessa for the very first time. She and all her pinkness was the very first newborn girl I have gotten to take pictures of.. And though the newborns keep rolling in.. Jessa is still the only baby girl as to date. Between her mother and I we had frilly, fruffy, fluffy stuff all over the house..giggle.
Jenn..again.. thank you for the wonderful time.. I can’t wait to do it again.
Jamie, Noah’s mother was the winner of my last giveaway but I think I was the lucky one. What a wonderful time I had getting to know Noah and his parents. Here is just a little sneak peak for them.

A little blue in the E family now. Sweet baby Karson has 5 beautiful older sisters. What a blessing this little boy is. I look forward to lots more snuggles on this little man. Thank you Carla and Bruce for giving me the pleasure of photographing your little man.
Meet the fantastic Wyatt. He was a trooper I tell you. Slept so soundly..woke to eat and then right back to sleep to finish up.

I had such a fantastic time with these kids (and mom). It was so relaxed and just an easy going evening. I could not have asked for a more beautiful location (which btw the owner rents out for weddings and events if you are looking) and of course the kids are down right adorable.
Carrie I had such a great time. I hope you and your family enjoy your summer and all the little vacations and activities you have planned.
Jessa is the sweetest tiniest baby girl. I enjoyed every minute of this session and I hope to get the chance to see sweet Jessa again.. and perhaps meet her 2 older brothers who I am sure are just as adorable as she is.

As I said before…I am also setting up a $100 mini session weekend. That’s 30-45 minutes with me in a set locations. Shoot and burn style so you will get 10 full sized, fully edited images on a disk copyright released (I am sorry but newborn session are not included in this but I have a great deal running right now for newborn sessions so please contact me if that is what you are looking for)

I had the chance to spend the day with my sister. And of course this aunty can’t resist taking pictures of this sweet boy. I still can’t believe he is 6 months old already. Meet (again) my nephew Luke.
Isn’t he just the cutest little thing ever! I had such a great time with this session.
